As the Inn got more and more popular Georg and Thomas Obermaier decided to build a new Hotel „Zum Vilserwirt“ which is directly opposite the Inn. After one year of arguing and planning the foundation-stone was laid in June for the new hotel. In less than one year a hotel where no comfort is missed was built. The Hotel „Zum Vilserwirt“ gained a 3 stars Superior certificate.

Now one says in Altfraunhofen at the Vilserwirt „modern age meets tradition with friendly hospitality“.
