Since 1902 the Landgasthof Obermaier is in possession of the family Obermaier.

Since his young years host Georg Obermaier was already aware to make the Vilserwirt to one of the most popular inns of Lower Bavaria. With regular enlargements and modernisations he also managed that together with his wife Marlene. The team which surrounds Georg contributes with their obliging and friendly service to your well being.

Mother Marlene and son Thomas Obermaier are responsible for their culinary welfare in the kitchen. Thomas daily cooking is influenced by his knowledge which he gained from the years of travel in the different 5 star houses. He received in 2005 the master's certificate as the best and youngest graduate of Lower Bavaria.
